Scholastic Book Fair
The fall Scholastic Book Fair is coming up and we need volunteers! The book fair will be held on October 23-26 with family shopping night on Monday, October 23 from 5:00 to 6:30. Set up will be this Friday (Oct 20 during the day) in the library. If you are willing to help out during any of those days, please send us an email at ccsnypta@gmail.com. You may also come in to help while your child is shopping during their library time. Thank you!

Box Tops
The Box Tops committee will be meeting next week to count and sort Box Tops. Box Tops can be found on participating brands of cereal, cake mixes, tissues, and other products. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents for Clinton Elementary. Typically the money is used for playground equipment and renovations. You can bring in Box Tops to the collection bin inside the main entrance of the elementary school or send them to school with your child on a Collection Sheet or in an envelope or bag. Please note that the Box Tops program does not accept expired Box Tops. Thank you for participating!

The Crayon Initiative
We will soon be sending in a shipment of used crayons to the Crayon Initiative, where they will be recycled into new crayons and donated to schools, hospitals, arts programs and other organizations invested in children. If you have any used crayons that would otherwise get thrown out, please drop them off at the crayon collection box inside the main entrance of the elementary school.

PTA Membership
Click here to fill out your PTA Membership Form for the 2017-2018 school year. Volunteering and attending PTA meetings are completely optional. By joining our local unit, you also become a member of the New York State PTA and National PTA, which are both very active child advocacy groups. National PTA teams up with businesses committed to supporting PTA's mission of serving all children by offering its members special discounts, fundraising opportunities and other unique deals. You can look at some of those deals here. Thank you for your continued support!
