Each morning during Good Morning America, WUTR broadcasts a clip of a class from a local school reciting the Pledge of allegiance. This week, students in Mrs. Cosentino's and Mrs. Chandler's classes were featured! Keep an eye out for Mrs. Abram's class on December 6th and Mrs. Dawes' class on December 10th at 7:27 AM and 8:28 AM.

Alteri’s Restaurant on 7 College Street in Clinton, is again teaming up with the local chapter of Dollars for Scholars to help raise funds for graduating Clinton Central School students.
Any pizza purchased on Wednesday earns $2 for the Clinton Dollars for Scholars/Alteri’s scholarship fund. Eat in or take out! Alteri’s will donate either way!

Drop in for free children’s activities and treats! Kids will create their own Greek vases through collage. This project is inspired by works of art in the Wellin Museum’s permanent collection, on view in Archive Hall.

A new Small Works exhibition at the Kirkland Art Center in Clinton features over two dozen local and regional artists who are members of the art center and whose art ranges from fine art photography, to watercolors and abstract mixed media pieces. All the artwork is for sale for under $125, which makes this exhibition a must-see for holiday shoppers. A free reception and holiday party will be held on Sunday, December 8 from 4 pm to 6 pm and all are welcome. The exhibition runs through December 20.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Kirkland Art Center Gallery to enjoy this and other exhibitions throughout the year. The Kirkland Art Center Gallery is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 am to 5 pm, and all exhibitions are free. The Hamilton College Department of Music presents a full schedule of year-end concerts featuring the Hamilton College Choir and College Hill Singers, Hamilton College Orchestra, Hamilton College Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Ensembles, and Student Soloists.
“Doc” Woods leads the Hamilton College Jazz Ensemble on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 9 p.m., in Café Opus. This event features new charts, jazz standards and student arrangements.
The Chamber Ensembles will present their annual musical tour of the Schambach Center on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m.
Under the direction of Danan Tsan, the Hamilton College Choir and College Hill Singers perform on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 pm. Concert highlights includes Bach’s motet Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden with string quartet and harpsichord, and music and texts by women composers and writers such as Hildegard von Bingen, Emma Lou Diemer, Winifred Letts, and Gwyneth Walker.
Ubaldo Valli conducts the Hamilton College Orchestra on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. The program includes Richard Wagner’s Prelude to Die Meistersingers, Johann Georg Albrechtsberger’s Concerto for Alto Trombone, with Heather Buchman, soloist, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in c minor, Op. 67.
The season concludes with the Student Soloists Concert on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m. Students selected by a faculty panel perform solo works for voice, piano, strings, woodwinds and more.
